Need to get away from your COVID-19 lockdown? The Florida Keys are OPEN: not just for tourism, travel, and dining, but to socially-distanced outdoor living.
But let’s be honest. While our saltwater fishing is unparalleled, there are better beaches elsewhere in the Caribbean to visit. We aren’t known for our beaches. We are known for our F-U-N: bar hopping, live music, creative cocktails, peculiar people watching, fabulous food, and bright Green Flash Sunsets. All of which can be done outdoors and at a safe social distance.

The upside lockdowns in the rest of the world? It’s nice and quiet here in the Florida Keys this year. Gone are the lengthy restaurant waits for seating, packed happy hour bars, crowded beaches, and bumper-to-bumper traffic.
Plus, 2020 could not have predicted the fabulous weather we are having here this year. The temperatures have stayed in the mid-70’s with plenty of sunshine and only the occasional shower.
As a resident of the Florida Keys, I am going to give you my favorite hidden beaches, fabulous restaurants, happy hour hangouts, sunset spots, adventure-awaits excursions, rainy day activities, and more.
